La Rochère (Bee) Glassware
These beautiful pieces are manufactured by the oldest glass factory in France. La Rochère, located near the northern border of the country was founded seventeen years before Christopher Columbus set foot in the Americas. These glass pieces embody the very heart of France.
Many of these glass pieces are adorned with raised relief decorations that symbolize France, including the French Bee and Fleur de Lys designs. The Bee, a symbol of Napoleon, is commonly associated with the Provençe region of France, which is renowned for its world-class wine and cuisine.
